How to give to Bishops’ Appeal

A brief guide to giving online

We hope that the following practical information will be helpful for readers wishing to make online donations.  Your support is much appreciated.

  • Online donations can be made, in euro or sterling, for amounts of €10.00 / £10.00 or more.
  • Donors making a contribution in this way will be asked to enter a code provided on the website before proceeding to payment (as a check to verify that they are making the payment in person).  This is known as a Captcha Enter code and is displayed in the bottom right corner on desktops and the bottom of the page on mobiles – please see example below:

  • You will be also asked to enter some personal information to ensure that we can record and properly acknowledge your donation – email address, name, address, town/city, county, and phone number.  All of your personal information will be processed in keeping with data protection law and our privacy policy.

Give Through Your Bank

Donations can be lodged directly into our euro or sterling accounts.

Please note, that in order to acknowledge receipt of your donation, it is important that you state the parish or individual name in the lodgement narrative. Also, if the funds are for a specific appeal, country or project please state this. To double check, you can email bishopsappeal@ireland.anglican.org with the specifications.
